Zebras on the Serengeti Plain

Embark on an African Safari dream trip of a lifetime to destinations such as Masai Mara and Serengetti...

Visit many of Africa’s Wildlife Reserves as we travel by road through the centre of Africa, returning via the coast to include Dar es Salaam, Mombasa and back through Malawi, Mozambique and finally Johannesburg.
Most of us would shy away from a trip of this nature due to the time and money involved, the necessary equipment required and most importantly, the know-how regarding the itinerary, route, where to buy supplies and knowing where to camp and which sights to include.

I introduce you to a retired gentleman who I have known for a many years. He travels for a hobby and has shared his experience on these trips for the last 5 years. Retired from the motor trade he has the vehicles and all of the equipment, including the roof-top tents and fridges. 4 vehicles are used per safari and each couple drives their own vehicle in convoy. Book now to avoid disappointment as each trip detailed below has space left for one couple only!

26 May 2007 – 25 June 2007

Johannesburg to Arusha

Rainbow at Victoria Falls
The itinerary travels up through Botswana to Vic Falls, Lower Zambia through South Luangwe and North Lake Malawi, Lake Manyara and Morogoro the gateway to Selous and Ngorogoro. Finally you fly out of Arusha back to Johannesburg.

19 September 2007 – 6 October 2007

Arusha

People of the Masai Mara
This involves a return ticket to Arusha and this trip is of a much shorter nature, the possibility does exist that should you wish you could add this trip onto the next, there is a 4 day layover in Arusha so that they can clean and prepare the vehicles for the return trip. This trip goes from Arusha to Ngorogoro, Savvo West, Amboselli, Nairobi through to Tanzania the Masai Mara and Serengetti, Ingora and back Arusha.

9 October 2007 – 14 November 2007

Arusha to Johannesburg

Elephants
This itinerary starts with Ngorogoro and then heads for Dar es Salaam including a stay in Selous, hereafter you travel down the south-east coast of Tanzania, and we then head back via Malawi to North Luangwe, the Luambe and onto South Luangwe and back to Vic Falls. After a short stay, we cross into Kasane in Botswana and then down through Nata and we motor back to Johannesburg.

Being completely informal trips, all you need to bring along are your personal belongings, not forgetting the binoculars and a good camera, preferably digital. Preparation for the trip will all be handled under separate cover. To give you an idea of finance, you will need a down-payment of US$1,500 , which pays for the vehicle, fuel, food and water. You will need a further $4,000 which covers the campsites, activities and all the other costs that occur on the trip. Be prepared, there is a fair amount of physical effort required in a trip of this nature so prepare yourself to be out in the African sun along with all the changes in climate that you meet along the way. It is an adventure trip without the risks that we so often see on our TV screens.

Allow us to organise this dream trip of a lifetime for you. Book now as places are limited!
