Pilanesberg Tours: Overnight Safari

  
 


Basic Tour Itinerary Day 1
· Collection from OR Tambo Airport (JHB) or any destination within the Greater Johannesburg/Pretoria area.
· Time permitting we will do a morning game drive in the Pilanesberg before returning to check into our Luxury Lodge.
· Lunch at our Luxury Lodge in the Pilanesberg.
· Open vehicle game drive – this game drive begins around 16h30 in summer, and the tour lasts about 3 hours. Nocturnal game that we often see on this drive includes Porcupine, Honey Badger, Bush Baby, Water mongoose and Giant Spotted Owls.
· We return to our Lodge, freshen up and have Dinner.

Day 2
· 05h00. Wake up call. Sunrise tea, coffee & biscuits
· 05h30. Our early morning open vehicle game drive begins.
· 08h30. We return to our lodge for breakfast.
· We check out of our Lodge.
· Depending on the programme, we either return to the Pilanesberg and continue our safari or indulge in the many other activities that there are on offer.
· A luncheon stop is planned.
· At the end of the afternoon we head back to Johannesburg, and we drop you off at your requested destination.

  • Guaranteed accommodation in Chalets in lodges with Air-conditioning, Bath Room en-suite facilities, a tea & coffee station, safes for your valuables
  • Theta trained professional guides with FGASA (field guide) accreditation.
  • Transport to and from the Pilanesberg will be in a micro-bus with air-conditioning.
  • ‘Open vehicle’ safari game drives.
  • All entry fees.
  • Breakfasts, Light lunches and Dinners.

    Pilanesberg is Malaria Free.

    Prices per person sharing:
    Full Board, including Dinner, Bed, breakfast and 2 light lunches. R3, 550.00 per person sharing. Add R650.00 single supplement.

    A 3 day, 2 night option is available including 4 open vehicle game drives R5, 255.00 per person sharing.

    A full day tour option is available for R1, 400.00 including lunch, leaving from greater Johannesburg and returning on the same day.
