Firelight Tours Fly-in Safari

  
 


This tour is designed for the discerning traveller visiting our shores and desperately wanting to take in our spectacular wildlife environment, but unable to do so because of time and work commitments. This is an opportunity to make the most of it, by flying into a destination on a charter flight, and within 20 minutes of stepping down from the aircraft you are at your destination.

  
 
The main components of this itinerary are an all inclusive package that is made up as follows:
• This does include the cost of the airfares to and from the lodge. Two flights return daily - ORTIA (OR Tambo - JHB) - Hoedspruit (HDS). Departure times SA Express either 10h55 or 12h30. Flight duration is 1hour 15 minutes
• Transfers to and from Greater
HB/Sandton/Pretoria.
• Transfers to and from Eastgate Airport to the Kapama River Lodge. This airport borders Kapama and the transfer is 20 minutes either way, it eliminates the rough corrugated gravel roads that you find in the area.
• This is a Big 5 reserve and the opportunity for those who enjoy wildlife photography.
• The reservation is on a fully inclusive basis, Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch basis. On arrival at the lodge you will check-in and you will be invited to a late lunch prior to departing on your first evening game drive
• Included are all the open vehicle game drives with your own registered guide and local tracker, up front on the safari vehicle. This means that there will be 4 game drives all-in, one on the day of arrival and the last one will be on the morning before departure.
• Luxury en - suite accommodation - 4 star
• Optional extras include the Elephant Experience which includes a ride for approximately for an hour and all the transport to and from Camp Jabulani, you return to your lodge for breakfast - R1, 250.00 per person. This experience takes place at dawn and it does replace the morning game drive. This is without doubt the best on offer in RSA for the time being
• Optional extra Kapama Cheetah Environmental Centre - this is a 2 hour educational excursion undertaken between breakfast and lunch and costs R250.00.
• Optional extras - a state of the art SPA.
• Optional extras - a morning walk.
• All transport is included for the duration of the safari.
• All entrance fees, airport taxes are included.
• All documentation will be handed over on their transfer to the airport.
