Basic Tour Itinerary
Day One
• Collection from OR Tambo Airport (JHB), KMIA (Nelspruit), HDS (Hoedspruit) or any destination within the Greater Johannesburg/Pretoria area.
• Lunch en route to the Kruger Park.
• Check into the Kruger Park and check into our camp (Skukuza/Satara) for our first overnight stay in the Kruger.
• Afternoon Game drive.
• Retire to our lodging, prepare for dinner and a good nights rest.
Day Two
• Sunrise tea, coffee & biscuits
• Our early morning game drive.
• Delicious Breakfast.
• A mid-morning game drive
• A luncheon stop and time to rest.
• Sunset game drive
• Our own BBQ, with Dinner prepared by your guide at the chalet
• Evening game drive
Day three
• Sunrise tea, coffee & biscuits.
• Our early morning game drive.
• Delicious breakfast
• Exit the Park and head for our next overnight destination in the private game reserves Sabi Sands/Balule, we check into the Lodge, have lunch and prepare for the ‘open vehicle’ safari game drive.
• During the game drive we will stop for ‘Sundowners’ and for all game views which lend themselves to photography.
• We return to camp and prepare for our Dinner under the stars, which is served around a camp fire in a ‘Boma’, an outdoor area protected against the weather and wild animals. A chance to discuss the sightings of the day
• After a sumptuous meal, we retire for the night in anticipation of what waits for us tomorrow.
Day four
• Up at sunrise for tea, coffee & biscuits.
• Our early morning ‘open vehicle’ game drive.
• We return for a delicious breakfast.
• Relaxation time, an opportunity to review photographs, read a book or take a massage.
• Lunch and perhaps a lie around the swimming pool.
• We prepare for our afternoon game drive.
• Sundowners are part of the game drive.
• We return to camp and after dinner retire for the night.
Day five
• Up at sunrise for tea, coffee & biscuits.
• Our last ‘open vehicle’ game drive.
• Delicious breakfast.
• Bid farewell to the lodge, exit the reserve, and take the Panorama route with its magnificent views.
• We stop for lunch on our way back to Johannesburg.
